BACKGROUND
As a child I used to spend hours scanning the pages of my grandad’s automotive magazines and soon acquired a hefty collection of my own. My walls were blanketed with posters of cars, racing and other action sports. The ability a photographer has to transport you right into the action is something which has always caught my attention.
Although I always enjoyed casual photography on my phone, it wasn’t until a friend of mine asked if I could capture some photos and video of his motorsport team at a local event that I decided it was something I would like to pursue as a serious hobby. I quickly found enjoyment in the challenge of getting all of the shots I wanted while working around the busy team. I also found the editing process for both photo and video to be very rewarding. Before I knew it I was buying a camera, lenses, filters, and downloading a range of Adobe software to practice editing.
I now travel to local and New Zealand Rally Championship events to shoot for the Agile Performance team, and attend Drift events regularly to capture the action. This site is to showcase my favourite work and write about the fun journeys that photography is taking me on. Follow along as my friends and I chase the race.

Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, my career focus is Digital Marketing and Content Creation. I enjoy incorporating my creative passions into my work, and find they complement each other well. Although I typically shoot automotive/motorsport photography, I enjoy capturing anything and everything including products, landscapes and urban environments. I have experience producing content for websites, social media, product shoots and videos for local businesses. I enjoy travelling to events and capturing for a specific assignment, with the goal of high quality content which can be used for marketing or just to document the day.
